Description Dan McKinnon 2003-05-15 20:00:34 UTC
I use gimp for pixel/pixel editing, but since I've installed v1.2.3 I've
been severly limited by a bug (which I'm suprised no one has reported
yet) that shifts the pixels around when trying to edit in small detail.

Create a new image that's bigger than 100x100 pixels large, Zoom in to
about 600%, bring out the pencil with the smallest brush possible and try
to draw a simple image (smiley face or something) in the bottom left
corner somewhere. You'll notice that the pixels like to shift around,
and as one might notice, makes it nearly impossible to make pixel-art.

This has been reported before and is fixed in CVS (both stable and
HEAD branch).
