GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 113056
SMB access via smb://computer only works once
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Description of Problem: I try to access a computer by going to smb://computer I type my user name and pass word, and I'm inside. Everything works fine the first time I do this in nautilus. After restarting nautilus, it does not work like that again. When accessing a samba server, I have to type my username and password for each directory I access. And, I can't even access the files. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Access an smb server from nautilus. 2. Close and restart nautilus 3. Access a nautilus server (the same as in 1) again. Actual Results: I have to login for each directory I want to watch, and can't access the files. Expected Results: I should only need to log in once, and should be able to read the files. How often does this happen? From now on ... Additional Information:
I've the same error I use RED HAT 9.0 with GNOME Allways Crash when I acces to the smb the second time
