If I run gnome-theme-manager and select Large Print theme the text "This
theme suggest a font" and a button Apply font appears.

If I click on the button and subsequently try to change the theme back to
the original theme I do not get the option to change the font size back. I
must go to the Font Preferences dialog and reset it there.
