Description Alex de Landgraaf 2003-05-06 09:59:48 UTC
Forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=190396

last Galeon update adds a Ctrl-W shortcut for closing the active window.

Ctrl-W is ultra-commonly used on X and Terminals as a shortcut to remove
the last word typed, the consequence is that when people used to Ctrl-W
for removing words (like me) try to do that in one of Galeon's textboxes
(the URL box or an HTML one) the window will disappear. In the worst
situation, this can lead to loss of valuable data.

I suggest a different shortcut key is assigned for closing the window.
