Description michal grezl 2003-04-29 13:18:38 UTC
xterm windows are shown as standalone buttons on window list v2.2.1 applet,
they are not grouped when Window grouping is set to Always group windows.
(also tried aterm with same results, gnome-terminal works fine)

walley: Grouping takes place per process.
Even after launching multiple gnome-terminals, a single gnome-terminal
process exists. It spawns multiple bash process. So the window stuff
still falls under one gnome-terminal process.
In the case of xterm, each one is a seperate process, hence you
don't see them grouped.

Okay, not to be found shooting too much off target, cc'ing Havoc. :)
