Description Christophe Jouny 2003-04-28 19:00:19 UTC
Description of Problem:

If nautilus is open when an image file is written
to that folder, the creation of thumbnail is
started before the file is complete. For large
iamge file (several Mb), the thumbnail is
recreated several times (always incomplete of
course), and once the file image is complete, the
thumbnail is not redrawn and stay with a gray bar
at the bottom.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Nautilus in one folder
2. Create an image file big enough and slow enough
(Eg. using "print -djpeg img.jpg" in matlab)
3.

Actual Results:
Incomplete thumbnail with gray bar at the bottom

Expected Results:

How often does this happen?
Always

Additional Information:
-> nautilus-2.2.3
-> fam is running
