Description Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2003-04-19 22:38:16 UTC
This idea hit me while driving home today. One thing i don't like about
the current bme ui is that if a user deletes a bm, well there screwed.
Undo would be helpful, but is probably really hard to do. Another easier
solution would be to add a "Trash" topic.

Basically any deleted bm would be added to the trash topic, and would not
appear in any of the other topics or special topics (including all) though
we may want to persist its properties.

Anyway its worth thinking about, but can probably be put on the back
burner.

I like the idea, we should really really try to keep number of special
topics limited though ;)
Comment 2 Reinout van Schouwen 2004-05-23 22:42:12 UTC
We should be able to do this without a special topic.
When deleted, a bookmark could appear in the Trash that we already have on the
desktop. To recover it, the user can drag it back from the trash to the bookmark
editor, or she can activate the url and bookmark it again.

still valid.
Comment 6 Michael Catanzaro 2015-07-19 02:11:59 UTC
Let's add the ability to undo deletion instead, bug #110586.
