Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-panel Severity: enhancement Version: 2.2.1 Synopsis: The main panel is always on the top Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel Description: Description of Problem: the main panel (the main panel at the top of the screen) is always on the top. I can't bring a window sliding under this panel, the panel blocks it. this is very very useless. I think the window must go under the panel! Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. bring a windows (I use only metacity) 2. drag it under the panel (if you can!! :) Actual Results: Expected Results: I think I must decide if the panel must be always on the top or not!! See http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81551, also there's a bug or six with discussion of the keep-titlebars-onscreen constraint. Anyway, already discussed to death. There's another open bug about changing it slightly so you can move a window offscreen with alt+click I think. could dup this one on that.
Going ahead and duping it, like Havoc suggests. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 106740 ***
