Description Mark Howard 2003-04-09 21:02:32 UTC
http://bugs.debian.org/186867 :

I'm unable to resize the download manager window. If the filenames are
more than 9 characters long with my font, this causes the window to
display scrollbars and force me to scroll left and right to see the size
and remaining fields.

The window also only really has space for one or two downloads at once
before displaying a vertical scroll bar.

It should be default be larger, and should let me resize it. Ideally,
it should resize itself to avoid horizontal scrolling, and/or use some
sort of [...] based truncation of the filenames if they're unusually
long.

If I click on the details option, it lets me resize the window.

I concur. It is very annoying, and not fixed as of 1.3.5.

This is basically the same problem as bug 75479 (the width is reset
because you can't resize the window).
