Description Paul Wheeler 2003-04-03 21:34:43 UTC
QIF Import "Adds" split transaction amounts instead of "Subtracting" them
from checking balance.

Original checking data maintained in Quicken 2001 Deluxe Release R1 running
on Win98_SE.

Imported to new install of Mandrake 9.1 running GnuCash 1.8.1

Found that all items marked as "-- Split Transaction --" appear in split
mode with total transaction amount in the "Deposit" column with a notation
of "withdrawal" in light color instead of showing "Deposit" in light color
and the transaction being withdrawn.

No idea why it was processed as a "Deposit", because the associated QIF
entry clearly has it as a negative amount:

SRecreation
Ecamping gear

SClothing
$-91.00
SCash

The split amounts are shown in the withdrawal column where they should be.
