Description Darren J Moffat 2003-03-31 17:10:29 UTC
The standard X11 xterm allows setting the colour of the terminal window
drawn cursor independantly from the background and foreground colours.

For example I have the following in my .Xdefaults

XTerm*cursorColor:	Red
XTerm*background:	Black
XTerm*foreground:	Green

It would be very helpful if the cursor colour for gnome-terminal could be
set and was stored along with the profile.

Note this has nothing to do with the shell prompt, since the cursor is
drawn by the terminal emulator and is present in applications that aren't
shells.
