Description of Problem:
Had a gnome-terminal with three tabs that had been open for more than 24
hours. I had a regular prompt running in one, and two ansi syntax
highlighted vim's in the other two. I exited vim on the last one and
attempted to close it using CTRL-D out of my shell and gnome-terminal
crashed.
