Description of Problem:
On hitting ctrl-d and exiting Bash from one of my terminal windows,
sometimes the entire gnome-terminal app crashes

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Start several terminals (5 or so) using ctrl+shift+n
2. Use gnome-terminal for a while
3. Exit a window using ctrl-d in bash

Actual Results:
Crash

Expected Results:
Everything's ok

How often does this happen?
Several times a day, but not consistently
