There's a note on 106870 that seems relevant to your bug. Thanks for
the report.

The XftRectCore() function is only called if you don't have the RENDER
extension in your X server, so this looks related to (if not identical
to) http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=80414, which I
believe is fixed by an XFree86 update.

Please update to the latest XFree86-* packages from Raw Hide
(ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/rawhide/i386/RedHat/RPMS/) and
see if that helps.
