Gnome terminal crashes when it's being resized (5000 lines scrollback
buffer) 
on updated rh8.0

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.  Open Gnome-terminal
2. ssh to some machine (in my case RH 7.3)
3. run less some big file (/var/log/maillog)
4. resize gnome-terminal window by dragging by the bottom-right corner
to rather big size more than 3/4 of the screen on 1280x1024 

Actual Results:
crash

Expected Results:
bigger window
