Description of Problem:
When I double-clicked the 'Preferences' icon from the 'Start Here'
folder, it crashed.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Double-click the 'Start here' icon on the deskop.
2. Double-click the 'Preferences' icon.
3. 

Actual Results:
Crashes and asks to submit bug report.

Expected Results:
I expected it to open a preferences configuration dialog.

How often does this happen?
The first and only time I have tried it (so far).
