Description dobradovic 2003-03-18 23:11:42 UTC
When disabling the "user is online" sound in audio-preferences, it just
gets ignored. GnomeICU plays the sound everytime, even lots of times when
connecting. This is very annoying, looks like the sound-path is hardcoded,
or the change in prefs is ignored.
Comment 1 Patrick Sung 2003-03-19 06:31:35 UTC
did you try to restart Gnome? it is a gnome-sound-properties problem.
nothing is hardcoded.
Comment 2 dobradovic 2003-03-19 08:43:37 UTC
Hmm, ok, you're absolutely right. I had tried restarting gnomeicu, but
not Gnome. And now it's fine. Thanks. Maybe report that to gnome, or
is it a known issue, maybe fixed in 2.2.1? I'll see...
Comment 3 Patrick Sung 2003-03-19 18:24:00 UTC
