When I connect to the internet after gweather has been activated, I get
the error message "Retrieved Failed".
If I first connect to the internet and then I start gweather, it works
normally.

What happens if you then connect to the internet and choose update in
gweather's right click menu? By default gweather won't try to connect
again untill 30 minutes has passed.

I use gweather with a modem and this bug does not occur for me.

Same thing. I still get "Retrieval Failed".
If i close the app, and I start it again, then it would work (but of
course i have to change the location first)

Okay, this is a gnome-vfs issue. There is already a bug filed in the
gnome-vfs module. Could you search for it and mark this bug as a
duplicate?
