Description of Problem:
If you resize a window while less is running, it kills gnome-terminal
and you lose all windows.  This is *very* annoying.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. run gnome-terminal
2. run less filename
3. resize window

Actual Results:
Gnome-terminal crashes during resize

Expected Results:
resize should complete normally.

How often does this happen?
Very often.

Additional Information:
WM is metacity.
