I have numerous mboxes that I manage with Balsa 2.0.9 and while selecting
multiple emails in a box and clicking delete, Balsa just hangs sometimes.
It does not happen everytime but it happens perhaps 50% of the time. The
entire app hangs and the gtk+2 elements are not redrawn.

Which version of gtk2 have you got? Is it possible this is duplicate
of bug 106311 ?

I am using GTK+ 2.2.1. Bug 106311 seems to also be a problem with this
version of GTK+, but I dont know if its the same issue. Is a bug in
GTK+ 2.2.1 to blame?

Yes, this is a gtk2 bug. Do read the report, particularly the
crosslinked one on redhat. And try the JB's patch.

Aha, yes, this is a duplicate of that. The bug seems to have gone away
with the patch from JB. Thanks!
