GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 106749
new report rquest: graphical cash-flow report
Last modified: 2018-06-29 20:29:09 UTC
I would like a report where I designate a set of accounts and then get a list of transactions (or bar chart) that cross the boundary between "inside" and "outside". So if I select my assets and liabilities, all my income and all my expenses will be listed, but not (for example) my credit card payments, because that transaction moves money around within the chosen account set.
This is the cash flow report. It already exists. Go to Reports -> Income & Expense -> Cash Flow Then edit the report options and select the accounts that are all part of the "circle" -- the report will show all transactions that cross the circle boundary (i.e. have at least one split inside the circle and at least one split outside the circle).
Sweet! Now how about a adding a bar chart like the regular Income&Expense report so I can look at my net over the course of a year in month increments?
Changed the summary to be more appropriate to the request.
