Appears to be a unique stack trace, according to the
simple-dup-finder.  Setting version->2.2.x, marking priority->high &
severity->critical (it's a crasher), adding GNOMEVER2.2 and bugsquad
keywords, and marking as new.

I too have seen this (version 2.2.0.1). When using a drawer, I get
these errors in .xsession-errors:

(gnome-panel:29833): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from
`FoobarWidget' to `BasePWidget'

I can't make it crash regularly-- but it often crashes on logout with
a drawer on the menu panel. Remove the drawer and the panel doesn't
crash on logout.
Comment 4 Mark McLoughlin 2003-03-10 01:25:57 UTC
Okay, this:

  • #6 strcmp
    from /lib/libc.so.6
  • #7 transcmp
    from /lib/libc.so.6
  • #8 tfind
    from /lib/libc.so.6
  • #9 __dcigettext
    from /lib/libc.so.6
  • #10 dcgettext
    from /lib/libc.so.6

is the part of the trace which matches on both of these bugs. This
looks like a bug in gettext. Hard to be sure, though.
