GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 106137
GnuCash crashed when I added the Type option
Last modified: 2018-06-29 20:28:28 UTC
1. Opened GnuCash 1.8.0 2. Created new file, went through heirachy and added every account type but business (using AUD btw) 3. Saved file as gnucash under $HOME/accounts 4. Clicked on Option button in toolbar. 5. Chose Type, clicked on OK 6. GNOME exits - badly. Screen closes, lock files are not removed. Don't appear to have a core file however!!! NOTE: as I can duplicate the problem everytime I've done an strace and have the output file
Created attachment 14342 [details] Stack trace of gnucash executable session
This has already been fixed in CVS. It will be in the next release. The fix is to find the "()" in dialog-options.c and change it to "'()" because guile-1.6 (which I bet you're using) doesn't like the old way.
