GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 106009
need smb codepage setting dialog
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
smbfs can set iocharset and codepage via follow command. mount //samba/public /mnt/smb -o iocharset=utf8,codepage=cp949 yes. each smb server can have their codepage. but nautilus smb:// vfs has no codepage properties. so some filenames show broken.
where to read that information from? /proc or some other place for smb itself? without the unique place, user have to define all the iocharset of smb items.
