Description:
The subject line pretty much says it all.  I installed RHLinux 7.3, and when the system rebooted, I logged in (text mode) and typed "startx".  X/Gnome came up, but the Gnome toolbar at the bottom of the screen is mostly blank, and an error dialog box came up saying that the toolbar process had died.
