Description arbocura 2003-01-17 19:04:29 UTC
Package: gnome-pilot
Severity: blocker
Version: 0.1.69
Synopsis: Syncing a Palm M505 to 'Ximian Evolution 1.2'.
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-pilot
Bugzilla-Component: gpilotd

Description:
Hello,

I work with the linux distro 'Xandros desktop 1.0' (Debian based), which
works just fine.
When 'Evolution' is open and I press the hotsync button on my Palm a
serial connection is made via /dev/tts/3 (Palm beeps), but immediately
an error window pops up with the message:
"gpilotd crashed due to a fatal error (segmentation fault)" The error
is always assigned another # (once 2440 - then 3780 - and so on).

It keeps doing that everytime I press the hotsync button.
I hope you can give me some advice.
Thanks in advance for answering my request.

Kind regards,
Sim Van Erwegen.
