>Description:
When I first boot up my machine in init mode 3 and start x from the
command line, the wrong background comes up on the first virtual
desktop. This is not a problem for me don't worry about it. However, if
I go into enlightenment and change to the desktop that I want and then
start up a gnome terminal, the gnome terminal immediately dies if I have
transparent shaded background.

To fix this problem, I have to go to the second virtual desktop, start a
virtual terminal with on that page then I can go back to the first
virtual desktop and open up a gnome terminal with no problem.
