Description koliset 2002-12-11 20:31:03 UTC
I noticed that GIMP lacks line and rectangle tools, something that seems
conspicuously missing for such an otherwise high caliber graphics
program... to make a line or rectangle I have to switch over to MS-Paint or
some other program... could someone please add these tools in?

Drawing straight lines is possible by clicking on the startpoint and
shift-clicking on the endpoint. Drawing shapes is possible with making
a selection in the wanted shape (rectangle e.g.) and select Edit->Stroke.

Basically we are pondering about adding tools to make these functions
more obvious, this is a duplicate of bug #65197.
