Bugzilla-Product: gnome-terminal
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:
Description of Problem:

the first new tab created while in gnome-terminal creates the tab but
the white area for the terminal is missing from the display. But, if I
page back to the origional tab and back to the new one... everything is
fine. This only happens on the first new tab... all subsequent tabs
open fine.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. start gnome-terminal
2. press Shift+Ctrl+Tab
3. the new tab is created and paged to... but the terminal is absent
from the window.
