There should be a clear notification that an event has happened when the
Urgency hint has been set as defined in ICCCM. Something like the
background of the tasklist section flashing like Windows XP does...

Probably need to think up at least one non-flashing way of doing this
too, as one day I suspect we're going to need a global "no animations
please" preference to meet some accessibility legislation or other :)
