Package: gnome-core Severity: normal Version: 1.4.0.4 Synopsis: GNOME Panel crash Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core Bugzilla-Component: panel Description: I have gnome as the default window manager/desktop environment on a T21 (IBM) Laptop, and the panel sometimes crashes on startup. Noted that rm -rf ~/.gnome helps, MAYBE!, not a permanent solution. panel can be started from a terminal ok. The problem is not with this laptop, it's common on T21s running RedHat 7.2 Debugging Information: (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)... This is a known problem that is being worked on. I think we can probably safely assume that your other bug (bug 84459) is also this problem, rather than bug 69333. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 59500 ***
