Description Piotr Drąg 2018-03-03 20:36:55 UTC
Apparently, you can choose “--” as the committer, which creates commits with both author and committer as “GNOME Translation Robot <gnome-sysadmin@gnome.org>”, like here: https://git.gnome.org/browse/orca/commit/?id=fc6aadaab0af92947f3f94c3817a463076e7b5d4
Comment 1 Piotr Drąg 2018-03-03 20:47:07 UTC
It turns out the Dutch translation was wrong. “Commit author” was translated as “Committer”. So, you can choose “--” as the commit author, which creates commits with both author and committer as “GNOME Translation Robot”.
Comment 2 Claude Paroz 2018-03-03 21:56:53 UTC
To be clear, do you suggest to replace the '--' option (and value) with the name of the current connected user?
Comment 3 Piotr Drąg 2018-03-03 21:58:32 UTC
I guess so, unless there is a better way to avoid anonymous commits.
Comment 4 Claude Paroz 2018-03-04 20:04:55 UTC
Should be fixed, thanks for the report.
