GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 760547
Day number placement in month view is misleading
Last modified: 2017-04-17 18:20:40 UTC
Currently, the day number in the month view is placed at the bottom right corner of the box representing the day. This placement makes the day number closer to the event of d+7 rather than the current day. The problem get worse when your calendar is full of appointments, as the lines separating the days become less and less visible, making the days number less and less linkable to their events. What about putting the day number somewhere on top of the box so it stays close to its related appointments?
(In reply to Adrien Plazas from comment #0) > What about putting the day number somewhere on top of the box so it stays > close to its related appointments? This was already considered when designing Calendar. Placing it at the bottom solves some design issues we were facing. The real problem is that the lines are not strong enough so you can clearly sepparate the cells. For that, I'm marking this bug as a duplicate of *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 758679 ***
