Description dave.douglas 2015-12-11 01:55:15 UTC
When I went into the Text Tool, I wanted to change the color of the text.

I selected the color box and a Text Color screen popped up with color selection options.

I clicked on the eyedropper icon and tried to select a color from the screen.

And the following notification box popped up:
GNU Image Manipulation Program
GNU Image Manipulation Program has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

The problem can be duplicated. I tried it on various areas of the screen.

Thank you

Do you by any chance use multiple monitors? That would be bug 746393.

I am experiencing this same bug on Windows 10. I am using multiple monitors. The bug happens when all activity is limited to a single monitor.

Let's resolve this a duplicate of the general multi-monitor color
picker crash bug.
