Description Pedro Beja 2015-07-20 20:37:21 UTC
Forwarding from Debian BTS: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=593057 by Patrick Holthuizen <patrick@eaze.org>

[
Package: gedit
Version: 2.22.3-1+lenny1

In the dutch translation of gedit a wrong mnemonic is assigned to the
"Opslaan als" action when closing gedit after entering some text. When
gedit is closed after entering some text a dialog appears with three
available actions:

Sluiten zonder opslaan (mnemonic Z) (English might be: Discard changes)
Annuleren (mnemonic A) (English might be: Cancel)
Opslaan als (mnemonic A) English might be: Save as)

I think the last action has a wrong mnemonic because the character A is
already reserved for "Annuleren". I suggest to change "Opslaan als" /
"Save as" into "Opslaan" / "Save" where the Dutch mnemonic is "S".

Still present on 3.16.2 and 3.17.2

In git master the string is "_Save As…", which is not translated in nl.po. When the NL translation will be updated, this bug will be fixed, normally.

I can see those words translated: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gedit/tree/po/nl.po

but ok we wait for the next release then
