Description don 2014-12-27 21:10:43 UTC
This bug is present in both 3.4 and 3.12 releases of evolution packaged in Debian (Wheezy and Jessie) when using a carddav contact source (tested against radicale 0.9). Other non-photo contact edits have no difficulty. However, dragging a JPEG image URL into the contact editor box will invariably result in an Evolution crash, sometimes instantly, sometimes several seconds later. The update sometimes works (this is when the crash occurs several seconds later).
