If the dark theme in gnome desktop is enabled most parts of evolution follow suite and display a white text on a dark background.

It fails to do so on
1)the list of emails
2)new (text) email content.

Those are displayed as black text on a dark background and are there for not useable

This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.
