GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 719374
Does not fit on netbooks (600px height)
Last modified: 2013-11-27 08:54:46 UTC
Since GNOME 3.8 I have noted that most of the configuration windows are not suitable for notebooks with small screens (10.1", 1024x600) making almost impossible to select [OK] [Cancel] buttons at the bottom or accessing the whole window content and thus making the environment very difficult and unpleasant to use. I'm attaching a snapshot showing what I see when I try to change my desktop background but this is not limited to this configuration module, many other places and applications are simply too big in height (>600) to be dispayed correctly on these screens.

gnome-shell cannot magically make application windows smaller or screens bigger, so this needs addressing in applications themselves. The issue at hand is with Settings, so reassigning to gnome-control-center.
