GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 705890
at-spi product outdated
Last modified: 2013-08-14 10:03:07 UTC
There are two things outdated at at-spi product (used for legacy at-spi bugs, and bugs on in-use at-spi2): a) The current developers list is the following: Developers Jeff Cai Ke Wang Li Yuan Li Yuan That have been non-active for years. Not sure about removing them, but at least it would be needed to add current active maintainer of at-spi2, Mike Gorse. b) Any at-spi bug is automatically assigned to Li Yuan. As I said he hasn't been really active during the past years. As in ATK (and I guess any other module) default assignee should be 'at-spi maintainers'. For the same reason, I think that all the at-spi bugs currently assigned to Li Yuan should be assigned to "at-spi maintainers"
For other bugmasters' interest: Very similar to atk's situation in bug 653179 comment 5 hence no objections. I've added Mike Gorse to at-spi developers group. He can also hand out these permissions to others now. > b) Any at-spi bug is automatically assigned to Li Yuan. All, except for: Java ATK Wrapper default assignee is kewang@gnome.org javabridge default assignee is jeff.cai@oracle.com Changing default assignee to at-spi-maint@gnome.bugs also applies to these two at-spi subcomponents?
(In reply to comment #1) > b) Any at-spi bug is automatically assigned to Li Yuan. > > All, except for: > Java ATK Wrapper default assignee is kewang@gnome.org > javabridge default assignee is jeff.cai@oracle.com > > Changing default assignee to at-spi-maint@gnome.bugs also applies to these two > at-spi subcomponents? Yes. Ke Wang and Jeff Cai have been pretty inactive for years.
Alright, default assignee reset for all components and mass-reset assignee for all open tickets. Important: Anyone interested in following all bug activity (including all maintainers) must watch at-spi-maint@gnome.bugs by adding it to the 'users to watch' list under Preferences->Email preferences. Bug reports that are in ASSIGNED state https://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced;bug_status=ASSIGNED;product=at-spi should probably also be reset to NEW state, and reclaimed by setting ASSIGNED and the correct assignee if somebody is REALLY still working on them. Closing as FIXED.
