GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 701682
Rhythmbox: Releases with multiple discs show wrong track info on disc 2+ from musicbrainz
Last modified: 2013-06-07 22:58:20 UTC
When a CD is part of a multi-CD release, the tracks for the first CD show up with the correct info (Title, Artist, etc). However, the 2nd (and subsequent) CD will show the wrong track info - Rhythmbox shows the track info for tracks from CD 1. When CD 2 has more tracks than CD 1, then Rhythmbox shows the track info for the first tracks of CD 2. For example, given a CD 1, with track: 1A, 1B, 1C, and given a CD 2, with track 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E For CD1 I see (correct info): 1A 1B 1C But for CD 2, I see incorrect info: 1A 1B 1C 2A 2B Notice how the first couple track infos from CD2 append to the end of the CD1 track info. Reading the duplicate bug, it is unclear if the fix is for soundjuicer only, and if the bug still exists with Rhythmbox/musicbranz.
