It simply hangs.

This appears to be a side effect of the port to GStreamer 1.0 - so far as I can tell (as someone who is far from a GStreamer expert) the normalisation plugin should work, but it isn't.

I'm continuing to investigate a fix or possibly a workaround.

I've pushed a workaround to master which disables normalisation, thereby enabling audio disc burning to complete, whilst I try and figure out the correct way to fix this.
