GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 696134
Accelerators don't work when program starts with non-Latin layout
Last modified: 2013-11-11 12:13:28 UTC
This bug is present on both Windows 5.x/6.x for a very long time. Not all accelerators are affected, language-independent like "Ctrl+1" still work (tested with GTK 3). Similar issue (except language-independent accelerators are also affected) was posted in this thread but had no answers: http://osdir.com/ml/gtk-app-devel-list/2009-06/msg00058.html It will be good at least to see workaround as live without accelerators is not pleasant at all and it marks GTK+ as "if you use it you program will accidentally stop working correctly on random costumer PCs".
