GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 69338
TRACKER: Redhat 7.1 and others panel crash on startup
Last modified: 2003-02-09 02:49:45 UTC
I don't know how useful it is to keep these seperate from bug 69333, but I'm going to mark all the RH 7.1 panel crash on startup bugs here.

hmmm, maybe we should just close all gnome-core 1.2.x panel bugs and tell them to upgrade. most of these have gnome-core 1.2.4 in common (must be what came in RH 7.1)
The bugzilla website is really goddam awful ... links broken, confusing interface, and when you finally get through it all -- no helpful information! Why are you even here?
That is a very personal question! Once you get used to the interface, bugzilla is lots of fun. The idea is to organise the bug data such that the obvious faults in the software are seen to the developers. In the case of this report, the panel bugs were just too many, so this is a way to group a bunch of them together.
Yeah, if these are against 1.2, which I believe is what came with 7.1, they should be closed and told to upgrade.
Adding relevant keywords. You can filter on the phrase 'luis doing GNOME2 work' to catch all instances of this so that you can ignore them.
added panel to the summary to clarify what is was for the mostfrequent list.

Because of the release of GNOME 2.0 and 2.2, and the lack of interest in maintainership of GNOME 1.4, the gnome-core product is being closed. If y0u feel your bug is still of relevance to GNOME 2, please reopen it and refile it against a more appropriate component. Thanks...
Argh. Apologies for the double spam. Actually closing this time.
