GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 689972
Use super key for application switcher shortcuts
Last modified: 2013-01-28 12:39:46 UTC
See bug 689967 for background. Keyboard shortcuts that need adding: * Switch to next application - super+tab * Switch to previous application - super+shift+tab * Switch to next window of the current application - super+<key above tab> * Switch to previous window of the current application - super+shift+<key above tab>
Reassigning to gnome-shell maintainers, they're the ones that will have to update the default shortcuts.
Created attachment 234491 [details] [review] Use Super key for application switcher shortcuts Use Super+Tab for switch-applications, repurpose Alt+Tab for the 'classic' switch-windows, and use Super+AboveTab for switching to the next window of the application. For the last one, we keep Alt+AboveTab around as an alternative.
