GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 689842
Make gedit embedded terminal have same colors as default terminal
Last modified: 2013-06-01 22:06:10 UTC
I enabled the gedit plugin - Embedded terminal and the color of the text is white. This makes text or command typed-in against the grey background not visible. According to this article there is an option accessible via dconf-editor. It could be included in the gedit help documentation possibly under Configure and use gedit Plugins > Additional gedit Plugins >> Embedded terminal. Thanks!
I followed the instructions on the page linked yet, I do not have the desired results. I have tried setting the colour palette string manually using http://www.sharms.org/blog/2012/08/gnome-terminal-color-schemes/, yet I see only Rxvt color scheme in the embedded terminal even though gnome-terminal displays the custom set color palette.
