This is the old call UI (empathy-av), could you try with the new one in Quantal (empathy-call). It uses the 'input-dialpad' which should be provided by gnome-icon-theme. Please check if it's provided by your package.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2012-07-23 08:14:59 UTC
Bilal: You have made sure before upstreaming that this is not a downstream only issue (like bug 668393 comment 6)?
Comment 3 Bilal Shahid 2012-07-23 12:30:08 UTC
i was clearing the list i losted the previous bug
its in quantal by the way if its not gnome you simply mark it as NotGnome.
Comment 4 André Klapper 2012-07-23 12:34:56 UTC
This is not how it's supposed to work.
You could simply test it first before blindly upstreaming it.

Hi sorry I've been busy with other things I am the orignal reporter.

From what I see in the file system on Quantal there is a /usr/share/icons/gnome/scalable/devices/input-dialpad-symbolic.svg using find / | grep input-dialpad

Let me see if I can track it down manually, is this an icon that gnome installs or empathy installs in the meantime

It appears that gnome-icon-theme is installed and already the newest package also, I'll continue to dig.
Comment 9 davmor2 2012-10-15 18:22:09 UTC
Apparently this might be a workround by simply installing gnome-icon-theme-full in ubuntu. I have confirmed this is the case.

This appears to be a distro specific issue please feel free to close this bug as you see fit and I will continue with the Launchpad bug I filed.
