GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 672280
Dark theme tab gradient ends too abruptly
Last modified: 2012-03-20 00:17:23 UTC
Created attachment 209991 [details] Dark Tab from Preferences, Zoomed As opposed to the light theme's tabs, which become the same color as the content area long before hitting it, the line of pixels just above the edge in the dark tabs are a lighter color. This creates visual banding. Pushing the gradient edge up just 2 or 3 pixels could easily solve this.
Upon further observation, it seems the light theme actually leads up to the edge as well, although it's much more difficult to notice.
Good catch! I now fixed this in git master.
