Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2012-03-12 04:14:35 UTC
In most cases, the contents of gnome-control-center could fit in the screen without scrolling. We should avoid the use of scrollbars in that case (see also http://jeff.ecchi.ca/blog/2011/06/24/dont-make-me-scroll/ )

That's what we try to do.
Comment 2 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2012-03-12 15:04:19 UTC
That's great! Is it supposed to work in 3.2 then, or is this only for 3.3.x? Because I'm certainly not seeing that here, both in the French and English locales.
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2012-03-12 15:07:50 UTC
Could you at least make the effort to describe the bug here?

I am sorry, I thought that it was obvious/visible on all setups (I presume it is not, judging from your slightly uncourteous reaction). I think the screenshot should convey the problem more succintly than words now. Note that this is on a 1920x1200 screen.

I will not read anything that's not in the bug. Unless it's 500 meg video that you can't attach to bugzilla, there's no reason why you can't do that here. The system settings parts of GNOME have enough "wouldn't it be nice" bugs to last me a couple of lifetimes, I won't spend those scouring personal blogs, forums, or non-upstream bug trackers.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.
