GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 671808
Rhythmbox toolbar won't show "text beside icons"
Last modified: 2012-03-13 10:30:02 UTC
This bug was filed at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/950937 Package: rhythmbox 2.95.5-0ubuntu1 In Ubuntu Precise and Oneiric, the options "Icons only" and "Text beside icons" have the same result (under Preferences->"Toolbar Button Labels"). I attach a screenshot that demonstrates the problem (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/950937/+attachment/2840648/+files/Screenshot%20from%202012-03-09%2018%3A05%3A26.png)
"Text beside icons" only displays the text for items marked 'important'. Normally only the play button is marked as important, and an Ubuntu patch removes that marking so no buttons are important. They should probably remove the 'text beside icons' option since it has no visible effect.
Thanks, this bug is Ubuntu-specific
