GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 668774
toolbar inconsistencies
Last modified: 2018-08-03 19:22:17 UTC
Created attachment 206217 [details] screenshot The add button doesn't quite look right. The loupe icon and clear button in the entry should be symbolic.
In fact, there shouldn't be two icons. The loupe icon should be placed on the right and turn into the clear icon when there is content in the entry. See the system-settings or gnome-documents for existing implementations.

Not yet. We might want to include it in the design patterns section of HIG3.
Fixed up the filter entry: commit cf1c8bb401cf511324df8db149ea35151fd12d1f Author: Stef Walter <stefw@gnome.org> Date: Fri Jan 27 14:14:35 2012 +0100 Fix up the icons for search/clear in the filter entry https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=668774 I'm not sure why the add button looks like that for you. For me the button isn't visible until clicking, similar to nautilus.
